SHOPPER MARKETING EFFIES

Brands are focusing more of their marketing efforts toward their target shoppers.

From before the shopping list gets written through the selection of which retailer to shop at – brands are looking for ways to guide shoppers’ thinking and behavior on their shopping journey – influencing the shopper pre, in, and post store.

Strategic efforts, both inside and increasingly more important – outside -
the retail environment, are happening across all media channels, enabling advertisers to play a role in shoppers’ decision process throughout their journey.

Effie Worldwide, in partnership with the Path to Purchase Institute, is pleased to award the most effective integrated campaigns that were specifically designed to engage the shopper and guide his or her purchase process towards a desired end result.

Awards will be given to the cases that best demonstrated how they effectively solved the shopper marketing challenge, connected with the shopper, influenced her along the path to purchase, and inspired her to become a buyer.


2013 Shopper Marketing Trophies Awarded

Gold, silver and bronze Shopper Marketing Effie winners were revealed and celebrated at the Path to Purchase Institute’s 2013 Shopper Marketing Summit on April 9th.

Kimberly-Clark, The Kellogg Company and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) were some of the top winners at the ceremony, along with agencies OgilvyAction, The Integer Group, and OgilvyOne Worldwide. Saatchi & Saatchi X once again is home with their bags full, with three Effie wins for their work on Febreze and Quaker Oats.

2013 Shopper Marketing Finalists

Effie Worldwide has made its list of finalists for the 2013 Shopper Marketing Effie Awards competition public. The Shopper Marketing Effie Final Round Jury met at Facebook on February 8th to review and debate the contenders to determine which cases should be awarded an Effie.

The shortlist of high scoring Effie entries will be factored into the Effie Effectiveness Index which ranks the most effective advertisers, brands, holding companies and agencies in the world.

The winners of this year’s Shopper Marketing Effie Awards will be announced and celebrated at the Path to Purchase Institute’s 2013 Shopper Marketing Summit, at an evening gala on April 9, 2013.
